The positive part was once I excepted the rules and the discipline that BJU required of me as a student. The negative experience came with my attitude, before I decided to yield myself to what my authorities were asking of me. Sure I didn't enjoy having a curfew and I didn't enjoy getting up early in the morning, but those silly rules taught me how to discipline myself and it did build character! Once you do graduate and get out into the "real world" you'll have to learn to do these things in life on your own. My days at BJU were the best days of my life. I met friends that I will have for the rest of my life, I feel in love for the first time, I surrender to my life to God; and now my husband and I work at a church as the Youth Directors. I wouldn't take back my time at BJU for anything. I would highly recommend it to those who need some discipline in their life and who are man/woman enough to deal with it! |
