If you're planning on attending the best advice I can give you is to get involved in the SummerStart program they offer before fall semester. You take two smaller-sized classes and you get to know a lot of people from different backgrounds before you actually start in the fall. I feel much more confident as an incoming freshman because I know my way around, most of the learning resources available, developed a social scene, and know what to expect as far as the workload and how to manage my time. Syracuse is a large university, but I never feel like a number. The professors inspire you to think "outside the box" and even in just six weeks I feel like I have grown mentally.I'm so happy I chose SU. |
