Individual success is always dependent on the individual and choices made. I feel I am moderately successful in my career. If the decision to attend PCC was based on education alone it wouldn't be a hard choice. I would say go there in a minute. But unfortunately if you're going to be a campus student there is much more to consider. I would not reccomend the college to anyone only because of the social life (if you call it that) that you are required to live while on campus. It resembles nothing remotely similar to reality. Fostering an atmosphere of Christian living is one thing - running a concentration camp is quite another. The lack of privacy is something that I remember being quite problematic during my 4 years there. There are political games to play just as there are anywhere else. Who you know is very important. I think that I read it best when it's stated that Christians should be taught to live under grace, not under the law. I saw many young Christians that were turned away from Christ due to the legalistic atmosphere of the school. If you plan on being a missionary or preacher or teacher, then you very well may be able to survive the experience of PCC. But anyone who is planning on working in the real world should think twice before picking this institution. |
