It has a diverse enough student population to provide a place for nearly anyone. Although it is located in New Orleans, the university area itself (uptown) has a cool 'smaller town' feel which contrasts to the more urban scene downtown (where the French Quarter is). Later in life, I went to medical school, and I really found my biology education at Tulane to be top-notch, even after all these years. I found myself highly prepared for this demanding course of study, both in knowledge and in work ethic. Tulane is what you make of it: party school or education (or even a balanced combination of the two). Enjoy the city, but remember what college is for! |
