I attended DeVry University to gain a degree in telecommunications. I am very happy with the level of education I received. From talking with students who attended or are attending major universities such as Texas Tech and A&M I have found that DeVry offers a competitive education. DeVry has prepared me for the business world and what employers are looking for. Friends who have attended Tech have approached me for advice in apply for jobs and completing assignments. The understanding for the business world and hands on experience DeVry provides its students is beyond that of other major universities. Administration has a good head at DeVry and has the future in mind. Faculty really cares and takes the time needed to assist you in growing as an educated professional, if you pursue it and make the time for yourself to due well. DeVry offers great resources to its students, if you take the time to use them. Every school and degree program only gives you back what you put into it. My DeVry education has landed me an exciting career for a promising Telecommunications Company on the leading edge of deploying and operating new technologies with a very promising future insight and an abundance of career options. The skills I gained at DeVry my company has already recognized and put to use on multiple occasions. Every school has its down falls and features its students dislike, DeVry has a few just as Texas Tech and A&M due. I have heard my former class mates complain just as I have heard my friends from Tech and A&M. The funny thing is that I hear them complain about the same things. It seems no matter what school you attend the same complaints are common. But my over all rating of DeVry is very high and I owe a promising future to the University.
