The Masters of Accountancy is an excellent program, but the other business degrees are concentrations, not full majors (for example: B.B.A. w/ a concentration in Finance [instead of a Finance Major]—that's a huge difference). There is an MBA program, but again, the undergraduate degree is over-priced. There are better universities to go to (that cost far less) if you do not have extensive scholarships and/or grants. In either case, go to a university that has full majors in fields other than accounting, if you are not an Accounting Major. The professors that I have had so far have generally been above average in my opinion (in every field, not just business). At the least none have been below average. But at $21,000+ per year (and that is just in-state), it is just not worth the cost. On the social aspects of the students, it could be a lot better but it could be a lot worse too. It really just depends on the person and if you are living on campus. In every group project, the others in my group have been friendly and on task—no problems. |
