My college helped me first of all to grow closer to the Lord than I had ever been. Many times I left Bible classes feeling as if I had been to church. I grew-up as a result of attending PCC. Many times people hear from negative view-points of PCC because the people who have something positive to say rarely speak up. PCC built character in me. They encouraged and challenged me to become the best teacher I could possibly be. Being the best you can be in your field for the Lord begins in your personal life. Through chapel messages and church services the Lord convicted me of things in my life that were unlike Him and He began changing me to be conformed to His image. I know that PCC was the center of God's will for me. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THAT PCC IS THE CENTER OF GOD'S WILL FOR YOU, please do not attend. Stay in the center of His will. I am so thankful for the academic training I received at PCC, I feel that I have become a well-rounded person as a result of this training. When I stepped into my classroom my first year of teaching I was terrified, but so well prepared. I have been teaching 4 years now and I am so thankful that still I can call on my professors from college and seek their advice. My instructors wanted to help me be the best I could be in my classroom and to make me the best I could be, they challenged me and sometimes required a whole lot out of me. To all of my instructors I say THANK YOU. I say thank you for stretching me and thank you for the godly testimony you held up in front of me. Since graduation I have seen PCC in a different light. I am now teaching at Pensacola Christian Academy and as a faculty member I see the faculty for who they are, not only in the classroom but also in their daily lives. These people live what they "preach". They strive to glorify God in all they do. The administration seeks to glorify the Lord, unselfishly, they commit to doing the best they can for their faculty and for their college students. We saw this as never before ring true during Hurricane Ivan this year. The administration gave of themselves over and above the call of duty. Some worked around the clock to make things as comfortable as possible for the college students. Meanwhile, many of the faculty and administration had severe damage to their homes and some completely lost everything, but they put others first. For anyone who feels that the administration of the college may be cold and unfeeling and unfair, I ask you to look again, take an impartial look. This time looking at the hard decisions that have to be made for RIGHT, see an adminstration who cares for their students enought to discipline wrong doing. Like a parent who disciplines a child. PCC loves their students with the love of God. Anyone who feels that God is calling them to PCC for their education I say "COME!" But, come, with these expectations: a friendly campus with faculty, administration, and students who will care about you and welcome you with open arms; a campus church where you will learn from God's Word and be challenged to grow in the Lord; academics where you will be challenged to be the best you can be in your field; social life where you will gain more friends than you can count—LASTING FRIENDS; an opportunity to grow-up, to put away childish things (selfishness, bad attitudes, rebellion against authority, pettiness, following the crowd, etc.—we all need the opportunity to put away these things, I did.) COME TO PCC EXPECTING TO BECOME A CHARACTER-FILLED CHRISTIAN WHO WILL BE TRAINED TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE IN THEIR CHOSEN FIELD OF STUDY.
