Statistical Analyzer:

UW is rated as a really good school so a lot of people come here because of that. That's kind of one reason why I decided to come here. I figured that since it's so well-thought of they would have a good program. But now that I've been here I think I might try to apply to a different school. It's really hard to be a non-partier here because there isn't much to do except go to parties or bars and stuff. So it's been a real struggle to meet people who are interested in the kind of things I am. If you are a big partier, this school might be for you, but from what I've found with friends and stuff is that if you do party, it's going to be really tough to get good grades. It seems like either people study or party, and there's no in-between. There's lots of homework so if you're hungover all the time you prolly won't want to do it. I've been to other party schools in the UW system and although there's drinking everywhere, it's a lot different at Madison. It's more out in the open, and people are more extreme and seem to have less respect for those who aren't necessarily into it. so yeah, the more i think about it, i don't know that i like madison that much.
