I loved my two years of graduate school. I interacted with people from different parts of the world which provided useful insights. I was an international student from a major metropolis so scale-wise I felt Ann Arbor was really small. The community is elitist, pretentious yet the campus is like an oasis! Being a liberal myself I fitted right in with the Professors. Academically I chose very challenging courses, therefore had to really work hard for my grades. Grading really depended on the type of classes and professors! There were a lot of funding resources available but one had to look for it. I was lucky to have found something that I loved and took care of all my bills. |
