First the good; people are friendly as hell, want to be your friend, academics are great, professors are great, if you follow your interests you will not be dissapointed. Having said that, I do not like ND at all. The people, for the most part, are closeminded innocent dorks, who are just starting to have fun. There are partiers here, but it is definitely a minority. I have applied to transfer to schools with more openminded students who are actually normal. If you want to graduate with the big degree, this is the place, and if you fit the mold, chances are that you will love this place. But if you are not part of that mold (as myself), good luck. Some of the most miserable times in my life have been here. So to sum up, Notre Dame is excellent for those who are made for this place, but if you are not, then DO NOT COME HERE. |
