Yes, many kids are very rich because of their parents, but what can you expect from a private university that costs 40+? A lot of people get caught up in bars and frat parties, but New Orleans really is a great city, you just have to make sure you go out and see it. Classes are hard…you can fix your schedule so you can go out 4-5 nights a week, but you really won't learn much or experience the greatness of Tulane classes. Some people have problems with their advisors, personally I love mine. I really do recommend Tulane. Lots of my friends at other schools (Syracuse, Wisconsin, Berkeley) and had really hard times adjusting, while I personally have not been homesick yet. Dorms are not the best, but it's very easy/affordable to live off campus. |
