Carolina completely changed my life, and I am so happy I chose to go there for my undergrad. I had plenty of interaction with professors who made me feel like I WAS at a small college—they knew my name, were interested in my life. I had a few large classes, yes, but for the most part, I was engaged in classes with less than 30 people. I took courses on every conceivable topic, meet the most intelligent and exciting people, and paid way less than Dookies for the same education. I take that back. Our education was better. :) You meet people from every walk of life, and the way you approach your education really reflects the way you approach Carolina. If you want to evolve and become a more well-rounded person, it is easy as pie. If you want to sit in your room and whine, you can do that, too. Either way, you will leave Chapel Hill a differene person. It, much like anything else, isn't for everyone, but if it is, I congratulate you on choosing the best public university in the country. It'll be a wonderful experience. |
