Overall, a good school with excellent faculty and students who are friendly. Don't go here if you are look for a school with an aesthetically pleasing campus. Widespread use of technology, but library seems to lack sufficient resources. Cafeteria food is decent. Not much social activity. In my opinion, there are an above average number of politically consevative students and professors. (This is obviously a positive thing if you are a George W. Bush supporter like myself, or you are tired of extreme liberal bias at our colleges and universities.)That being said debate and free thought is encouraged (especially in political science.) Nobody at SHU is trying to push a specific religious agenda. |
