Baruch is a school often people who work go to for a higher education or even to finish their degree for a school they went to such as NYU. Due to this environment, people are often heading off to work, and often leaving the impersonation that people need to travel at the speed of light and stick to themselves. Freshmen have a block program that promises them the ability to take 5 courses the first semester, but after that it's all about seniority and being an honor's student, because only those people have first pick. Therefore you spend the first two years, only able to take part one of the electives because anyone who is trying to finish their degree will be working on passing their electives. The school has too many students, and not enough classes to go around. However, the teachers in general are great. There is always a certain amount of teachers who are horrible, but overall, the quality of teachers is relatively personable, and comprehensible, and of good quality. |
