I don't know too much about other majors, but as for the engineering department, I feel that the courses are quite demanding, but I think that is true of any school's engineering department. For every bad professor there is a really good one, so it's all a matter of finding out which one to take and being smart about your classes. I've never had trouble getting into a class that I wanted, and I always seem to have the perfect schedule. This school is indeed overpriced, but it's still a top-notched education. The social life here is comparable to ANY state school. There is always something to do, and there is always someone to do it with (going out wise, not sex…well sex too). The admissions has been getting a lot tougher in the recent years. The growing trend over the past five years is amazing, and the quality of this university will continue to go up; along with the value of your degree in the future. I am very happy with my decision because of the balance I am getting socially and academically. If you're smart and love to party, this is the place for you. If you're deeply religious, I would not recommend coming here. It will not help you in that area. |
