I love Anna Maria. As soon as you step into the doorway of Madonna Hall (the dorm), you feel right at home. I play basketball and am on SGA's Social Committee. The people in both of these groups are friendly, outgoing, and committed to doing their very best for the school. While the computer labs could stand to be updated a little bit and more money could be put to a variety of social events, there are things to do around the campus. Just last year we had a Battle of the Bands, Spring Weekend, Halo 2 Night, Halloween Dance, Campfires (and other mini get togethers), a hypnotist came, as well as other events. Even though AMC does need a variety of new technology, computers are everywhere—there are some in the dorms, in the science lab, and in the library. The most important thing that Anna Maria has to offer is the everlasting friendships that will be acquired if one does attend. I have met so many people from so many different backgrounds, and I know that I will stay in touch with them forever. Also, the BEST barbecue chicken pizza is just a phone call away at Freshway (the local pizza place.) |
