Statistical Analyzer: DUPLICATE,

I've been here at NYU for 3 years; however, I sometimes think about why I stayed here. This school is very disappointing, and Stern, the supposed end-all of business schools, is a fairly avearge school. The only advantage you have is that it is in the middle of NY, therefore that's what their reputation is high. If it wasnt for NY, Stern would be nothing. And students from Columbia, Fordham and other schools get the same jobs as us anyway.

In additon, students here are very lonely and many are depressed. There is no feelign of a campus here at NYU. A typical day is wake up, go to class, try to find your professor in the midst of New York and go to bed… all alone. It can get quite depressing sometimes.. in face a lot of the time. If you want a true campus life, I'd suggest go to Columbia or Fordham.

The faculty is touted as being second to none. I must disagree. They are very average teachers who are arrogant because they work at NYU. They are very unapproachable.

THe best thing about NYU is of course, New York. This is the main reason I stayed at this terrible school. The nightlife is simply the best and the musuems and cultural life is one you can only find in places like Paris. New York is the only redeemable quality about NYU.

However, you can still have NY and have a great campus life (plus a great job as well), you'll find that at Columbia or Fordham, and that's why I don't recommend NYU for kids who actually want a college experience.
