Classes were relaxed, but engaging, and the class sizes were small. One of the great things about the relaxed atmosphere at Tulane, was the many social events held. The engineering department alone had enough events, and the professors are very helpful and friendly. There were also many opportunities for students (not just top students either) to get involved in research, and many other hands on projects. Engineering is very challenging here, but it is still fun. A lot of people drink and party instead of study, but after freshmen year, the people that are able to settle down stay, while the people who can't drop out or fail out. |
