If you don't care about your studies, and if you want to go out every night and party, then you can do that because there is no shortage of activities near campus. But, if you care about you education there are great opportunities here as long as you aren't afraid to challenge yourself. Most students manage to balance a busy social life with a reasonable courseload, and do very well. I get A's and take a difficult course load, but I still find time to go out several nights almost every week. (Thursday nights are the BEST!) Hurricane Katrina has displaced me for a semester, and I've been taking courses at an Ivy League school. I'm doing very well, but I miss Tulane and wouldn't think of transfering for all the money in the world! Tulane is a great school and has the world to offer well-rounded people! |
