I spent the best four years of my life at Boston University. My family could not afford to pay for my college education, but BU gave me enough financial aid to get me through 4 years of schooling. I had to work hard to earn my degree, but BU put it within my reach financially. For that, I will forever be grateful. My closest friends are still the ones I met while attending BU. And the city of Boston is the best place to be a college student. For current students (and those considering attending) my advice would be to keep an open mind about the diversity that surrounds you. Try to get to know students that don't share your background. Leave Comm Ave every once in a while and explore the city that surrounds you. If you don't, you're missing a fabulous opportunity.
