I did an internship in Washington, DC my junior year that was a great experience. The students I was with were so motivated. When I came back to campus I thought about transferring because I was in class with kids who only cared about whether something was going to be on the next test. But I didn't and I'm glad. Since graduating, I realized that I got a great education at RWU because I put in the effort. Roger Williams has all the resources anyone needs to get a quality education you just have to do a little work. The professors are very knowledgeable and everything you need to know is in the text books. You just have to attend class, read the texts and do the assignments. You can’t expect to skip class, party all the time and still get As.All of the other opportunities the university offers are great. My semester internship in DC and semester abroad in Italy were the best learning experiences I could have asked for. While right after I graduated most people had no idea where Roger Williams University even was, it is definitely growing in reputation and more and more people recognize the name. |
