college had helped me get over my home-sickness, got me prepared for deadlines so i could be ready for the real deadlines that comes up during the jobs.

what i think i should have done was that i should have had internships/apprenticeships so i'll see what the world has to offer, as well as build up my resume and experience. having just the degree from RIT didnt get me a good job any quicker or easier. it took me 10 years and perseverence to get there. here's what i recommend: be sure that you get internships/apprenticeships so you get work experience needed. most companies want experience with impressive portfolio. while one may have a great portfolio.. work experience is mainly the key.
