I can't deny I'm getting a pretty good education here, but I do have to say most of the rules drive me nuts (esp. the ones about dress and entertainment) and my journalism classes feel really repetitive. If not for my girlfriend, friends, and most of all God's help, I would have left if I could've afforded another place.

If you can afford someplace different, DON'T go to BJU, unless you truly feel called of God to do so. If you do come, just hold on tight and find your niche of friends, and then life will become bearable and even good. It took me a long time to adjust, but it is possible.
