Like any school, the only thing UWF can do for its students is give them the opportunity to succeed. Receiving an education is more about the individual than the institution. If you truly want to be educated you will receive a first class education regardless of the school you attend. OK, I will get off my soapbox. UWF was a great fit for me. When I was deciding what school to attend many factors where important to me but none so much as COST. I do not come from a wealthy family and I had to pay for my own tuition. UWF was incredibly affordable. I completed my education without getting any long term loans. Of course I had to work while I went to school but I can tell you that it was well worth it. Whether or not UWF is the right fit for you is really dependent upon what you are looking for. If you are looking to party UWF is not the school for you. I only remember a few big parties while I was a student. Although, with the new dorms and more students living on campus maybe that has changed. If you are looking for a first rate education at an affordable price in a nice quiet setting then UWF should be on your list. Forget about everyone's opinions (including mine) and just look at the facts.

UWF was selected as one of the 100 best college buys in America by Institutional Research and Evaluation Gainesville, GA (uwf.edu/enrserv/48.htm)

UWF was selected as one of the best universities in the southeast by Princeton Review. (princetonreview.com/college/research/profiles/generalinfo.asp?listing=1022839<ID=1&intBucketID=0&destID=)

UWF's Business school is AACSB accredited. This is the same accreditation as Harvard and one the less than 15% of schools in the world have achieved. Not to shabby! (aacsb.edu/members/Omd3/Profile_page.asp?id=11068)

I hope you found this helpful.
