No/invalid Email Address left Attending UIC was a mistake. I lived with relatives in the suburbs of Chicago and commuted daily to the school. It was at the time a commuter school with no dorms at all. The daily commute was a grind and there was little to no opportunity to make friends on campus. The campus, while located in a vibrant city, is a depressing concrete jungle. You do get to experience a diverse student body and to that extent there are some positives. Overall, I'd say if you want a real college experience with an active student life and the opportunity to make friends and enjoy college, then stay away from UIC. |
