My department has always been very helpful. They put you into the field teaching by your sophomore year. This is a benefit that many colleges do not offer. All of my professors know my name and are helpful. The campus itself is not very beautiful, but there is a lot offered. Deciding to be Greek opened up a lot of friendships for me. I recommend to get involved with something because it will make the whole experience easier.
