Classes are challenging, (except for spanish, which is in my experience pretty much just like high school) but not overwhelming (There's a LOT of reading, but that comes with any college. I've never had a professor that wasn't willing to go out of his/her way to help his/her students. There can be bureaucracy, but its usually friendly bureaucracy. The campus is just a really open, welcoming, and friendly environment. Lincoln Park is an area that's nice to walk around and DePaul's buildings are pretty attractive (if that matters to people when choosing a college…??). The dorms (except for corcoran) here are amazing compared to other schools. There's only 2 halls that have community bathrooms, and I actually prefer the community bathrooms anyway because the showers are spacious, there's no waiting, there's water pressure, etc etc. And I have to say one of the best things about DePaul is the fact that it's in Chicago. I mean, we're in the middle of the city so there's always something to do. |
