They were distant and offered to buy drink with a canyoning instructor that kept yelling at me for no reason. The local Swiss complained about racism against tourists. I heard a Baylor guy got into a fight with the locals. The Lugano school advised us to carry 20 Francs with us at all times for the cops, no 5th amendment rights. They told us a student was placed in jail for 45 days for talking back to a cop and fined $2000. |
