I graduated in June 2003 from the Masters program in Information Technology. The only good thing I can say about this school is I went there to learn, and I was able to learn because I wanted to. The bad…

We were in groups in every class. Basically since I was the only one in my group that understood the material, I did 90% of the project work because the other group members just didnt care or didnt know what the heck was going on. Dont get me wrong, I tried on numerous occasions to explain things to them so they could understand it, outside of class. They got a Masters degree and dont even have the knowledge to use it. Thats probably why I had so hard of a time finding a professional job. This school has a good reputation with some businesses…if you want to work in data entry or some other remedial job duty. The career services absolutely stinks. The majority of my background was in Quality Assurance. The career counsellor advised me that I should not try to seek a job in I.T. or web/application programming and that I should try to get something closer to my background. HELLO, THATS WHY I WENT BACK FOR MY MASTERS PROGRAM…TO GET OUT OF QA AND GET INTO I.T.!!!!! Needless to say, AIU took a year of my life and $40,000 (tuition) from me. The year ill never recover. The money ill eventually recover…hopefully.
