For those majoring in engineering, this may be a good pick. However, if your undergraduate institution is going to make any difference in your future (for example, for applying to graduate/professional school), and you are not an engineering major, you should avoid this place. This is the type of school that is more focused on getting easy degrees in the hands of underqualified students than in real education. The student body is the very definition of intellectual apathy. There is a far greater emphasis on "getting a job" vs. "getting an education".

As far as social life is concerned, there are literally two options. You can be the outdoorsy type, or you can be the party type. So if you are neither, avoid this place.
