It was eye-opening to understand the power that goes with a solid, respectable reputation. My career has grown due to the care and concern of other Aggies. If I had known better, I would have tried harder and looked for more interesting jobs, rather than looking for "the expected" employers. I recommend you really try to avoid "experiencing life"—don't make a mistake that will haunt you for the rest of yours. Find a spouse—they are harder to come by in the outside world. Make friends—they will become lifelong allies in good and bad times. |
