Statistical Analyzer:

The campus is not in the best parts of town (there is a public housing unit at the edge of campus); moreover, I feel safer in groups. They are cleaning up the Georgia Ave area so that is helping. The university is not ghetto as some would suggest. Most of the students come from middle to upper class backgrounds (non-inner city folk) so there is none of that ghetto stuff here. Most of the ghetto stuff comes from the people that don't go to HU and are off campus. Some people are cool, but you can expect to find a lot of bougee peeps on campus. Everyday on campus, it is a fashion show, peeps are judged on how they are dressed. I know a lot of students that will drop over $500 and up for just one outfit. There is also a lot to do off campus being in DC. As far as academics goes, they are ok, some programs are really bad while some are really good. Parking could be better, but we are only a few blocks away from the metro. HU is a good school with some flaws and problems, but it is still good and you will grow here.
