Of course, if you live at home with your parents and drive 30-40 minutes to school everyday you are going to be miserable. You may as well go to a community college. As for the costs of living on campus, use financial aid. I doubt many people are actually paying out of the pocket for housing.I am definitly not. Anyways,GMU is an excellent university. I have never met so many people from other countries and backgrounds. International students are particularly cool. This school has everything—the location, cost, people, professors, and opportunities. The proximity to DC is great, the professors are outstanding, and there is more to do around here than drink if you want that. Getting a job is easy, before or after graduation. Great concerts at the Patriot Center…Food is not so good. Oh well, can't have everything. I love Mason, and highly recommend it. |
