All of the teaching staff are very over-paid. The staff don’t care about the students, just about how much they can get paid. The tuition goes up 5-15% every year at the same time the education quality decreases by 25% each year. I grind my teeth every morning when I get to school and walk by all the gold trimmed SUVs with faculty parking passes on them. I then get really upset when I walk into one of the science or computer labs and have to work with broken, worn out, or completely outdated equipment. To summarize, if you’re a student looking for an education or a real college experience, STAY AWAY FROM RIT. If you’re looking for a job that gets you a huge paycheck and excellent benefits and requires no knowledge or skills, then apply at RIT. From what I’ve experienced, RIT will hire anyone. Are you a high school dropout? No problem, work for RIT’s campus safety. High School graduate? Be a professor starting at 85,000 a year. Perspective student? KEEP AWAY FROM RIT. |
