He has really come in with a vision and captured all of our attention to that vision. With magnificent additions such as the new dorms, CNU Village, a new Student Union, expanded library, and of course, the gem of everything is the CNU Ferguson Center for the Arts. So many great concerts have been here and have been readily and cheaply available to students to experience. Bocelli, BB King, The Temptations - the list goes on. I walk back stage and see all of the signed posters from visiting artists and I'm just blown away at the line up. More importantly, though, is the academic side of CNU. The professors are bright, smart, and open-minded professors. They are always shoving left-sided propoganda down your throat and your opinion actually matters. Classes are fun, interactive. I'm even on a first name basis with several of my professors because I consider them friends in addition to their mentorship.Don't come here if you like lots of sports and crazy fans. Although we have all the major sports and they do a fairly good job in their divisions, events are low attended (except football), and sports doesn't have the presence that other schools have (but that's a small school for ya).I would recommned CNU to anyone who loves a small, sociable community of students and professors. When it's nice, we have class outside. My Monday afternoon consists of "Kaffeestunde," or coffee hour in the cafe where professors and students who speak german come together and chat. I love it here and I'd rather be at no other school. CNU is for you. |
