I had no desire to just teach in Christian schools but had no choice with a non-accredited education. I would not recommend BJU because the university does not allow free thinking. The education was superb but their views of the world were rigid and unneccesary. Most of the faculty have never had held a position anywhere else and probably could not teach anywhere else because of their narrow-minds.It took me years to overcome their brainwashing but I survived and other have too but usually only if they left the area of Greenville, SC. I was in university when Steven Jones was in school. He was a very nice guy so I hope with him at the helm, the university will soften its stance on people and stob being so quick to judge. |
