The library is amazing, 8 million volumes of sumptuousness. I'd advise taking a seminar your freshman year. Smaller classes get your guard down a little…not everyone is as tough or grades-oriented as they seem. Also, everyone is just as smart as you are. Seriously. Don't underestimate anyone, your ego is going to die.

TALK TO THE PROFESSORS!!! They're kinda, you know, genius-material.
