To balance that the University has a tremendous amount of extra-curricular activities so you can get practical experience. Excellent social life…show a bit of restraint when you know you need to be a big boy or girl and you will be fine! This was my last choice for schools and I had to go because it was all I could afford. I planned on transferring after a year or 2, but never looked back. I had an awesome experience and could still be in my major field (I am…very part time) but $$ was not getting to where I needed it.FYI…UMass has an excellent reputation when you are applying for jobs and it is a good ice breaker if you have a UMass alum (there are many) across the desk as the person who could potentially hire you.GO HERE and don't regret it…just keep active. |
