Even with less experience than these other students, I was much more confident in my work and far more dedicated than they. The professors are tough in class, but they all make an effort to get to know individual students, and I receive plenty of individual attention. All of the professors' tough love really pays off and every class I have taken has taught me more than I expected. I have personal relationships with both professors and my academic advisor. The social life on campus is readily available if the student is willing to search a little for it. Many students, however, are too busy to have a really involved social life—Drexel is definitely not a party school. The vast majority of people are friendly and the campus is extremely diverse. While the campus is industrial and not very pretty, the academic buildings are kept in great shape. The dorms aren't superb in their quality or quantity, but they're sufficient, and a few newer buildings are not only attractive, but spacious and immaculate. Overall, Drexel provides her students with an exceptional education and great hands-on experience to put to use in real jobs. |
