GWB School of Social Work is definitely overrated. Prior to stepping in a classroom, I tested out of four (4) classes; and I came from an unaccredited program. I expected to learn something while at WU. If it weren't for the fact that the community respects WU and have my MSW from this institution made it easier to get certain things (i.e., a house) due to my potential, I would feel even more jipped. The curriculum was not challenging. The class structure was lacking. Most of the teaching seemed to come from other students in the way of classroom presentations and group projects. Disappointing……. very disappointing. |
