If you are from NYC or any big city DO NOT COME HERE with the exception of people from specialized high shools like sty, brooklyn tech, bronx science. When I came up here I thought I went to a different planet. These upstate people do the weirdest things for fun and in parties. I am still trying to adjust to their customs. Dont get me wrong, people here are real nice and you dont have to worry about get shot or stabbed.

Overall the academics here is good and the food is decent but you can get sick of it real fast.

Outside of campus they have a small mall called Market Place and around it has best buys, walmart, kmart, etc. If you dont have a car then your out of luck, so you better make friends with someone that is willing to drive you out or walk it.

Parties have the same people and is just a bunch of people sitting around trying to get drunk. THere is no such thing as dancing here.

What I really like is the gym which has a weight room, pool, track, and indoor sports scheduled on different days.

Oh yeah .. if you like to shoot pool … its only 3 bucks!!!
