I graduated from UH with my BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1999. I got admitted to UT-Austin and Texas A&M after high school, but I attended UH, so I can help out my family with our sandwich shop. UH is a very bad school. The cirriculum for mechanical engineering is totally useless in the industry, and I found out that students from other universities like Lamar and South West Texas are learning more than UH, and so, they are doing better in the workforce! The professors at UH are very arrogant and condecending. They put students down by talking down on them like Lienhard, Eichorn, and Shamsundar. These professors should be hanged for how they treated the students. I was admitted to a good MS program after getting my BS, and Eichorn destroyed my MS studies with Georgia Tech because he found out that I got admitted and he called the graduate advisor there to destroy me, which he did. Now my hopes are gone because of him. Unfortunately, after that, I wasn't able to attend the university, and I lost hope in getting my MS. I hate UH and will NEVER donate any money to this pathetic school, so for you out there, better watch out the university before saying too many good things. |
