I'm putting my comment as negative, but please be aware this is meant in no way to bash the school. This is a comment posted by an individual who attended this college from 2000-2004 and has read numerous other comments from previous students as well.

First off, let me say, that if you absolutely, 100%, no doubt in your mind are certain God wants you to go to this college, than read this from the perspective that I wasn't sure. I attended the college because it was cheap, far away from my parents, and eventually because I wanted to try and get what ever education and maturity I could out of it.

Pensacola Christian College is designed to run your life. If you want to attend a college that values teachinn you what it believes is right, rather than what the Bible teaches and ONLY what the Bible teaches, this college is for you. If you want to have next to no freedom, attend PCC. If you want to be harrased on a weekly basis by other students who have been give pseudo-power by the college to enforce it's rules, attend PCC. Be aware, that these same students are enforcing the rules as they interpret them, and on occasion, rules they deem are within the "Spirit" of the actual rules. If you want to know all the rules of PCC, don't rely on the student handbook they send out. There are many in there, to be sure, but not nearly all. If you want to have a meaningful relationship with someone of the opposite sex, don't attend PCC. If you want to have a non-accredited degree that can't transfer to any other college in the world, go to PCC. If you want to attend a college that will help your relationship with the Lord to grow and flourish, don't go to PCC. Don't expect it to be easy. Don't go there because it's cheap, or because you want to get far away from your troubles. The only reason you should attend this college is the reason I stated earlier: 100% assurance it's God's will. Otherwise, spare yourself the agony. Besides, it's not like the college will be there in 20+ years when your kids are ready to go to college.

So, you might be asking, "Did I get anything out of PCC?" Yes, I did. I came away with life long friends. I also learned that just because you label yourself a Christian, doesn't mean you actually act like one. PCC breeds people to be their brand of Christians, not Christ like Christians. I also did mature there, not because of the college per se, but because of my relationships. Other than these few things, PCC was the biggest waste of time in my entire life.
