Having a leadership role in the marching band turned out to be surprisingly helpful later on in business. UC Davis provides an opportunity (even though the student population has become huge) to become engaged and have a rewarding experience in student life. I recommend students make the effort to become involved in the activities in addition to the academics. High school students should definitely visit during Picnic Day to get a feel for the campus and students (they are very open to questions). |
