However, because PCC isn't an accredited college I am not able to work in the public arena. I have been told several times by schools in Virginia that it is almost as if my degree from PCC doesn't even exist. That is very frustrating. The only reason I would go to another college if give the opportunity is so I can take my skill and use it to increase my income. Those going in to PCC, especially as an education major need to consider these facts before they attend all four years and not be able to get ahead in the real world. It is impossible to survive on a Christian school teacher's salary unless you have another source of income. I learned many important lessons at PCC, I just wish it wouldn't have been a waste of my father's money. |
