However, it was very tough working for them. They do not show much compassion to their employees, especially to student employees. I think secular jobs treat their employees more fairly and kindly than PCC treats theirs. I was surprised when I entered the "real world" and found out how nice everyone was. I enjoyed my friends and I loved the beautiful campus. I went to PCC knowing that the rules were tough, but also knowing thatI can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength!I chose a good attitude, and I survived. There were times I did want to quit, but I also wanted a college education, and I couldn't afford it elsewhere. So I worked hard, graduated, and moved on with my life. I am encouraging my daughter to attend PCC when she graduates as we cannot afford any other Christian education. As long as someone makes up their mind that it's only for 4 years and that's a small piece of one's lifetime, then it can be done, and a person can receive a degree and a good education. |
