It's ironic that I have been asked by the college to write a positive review of them on today of all days. I am trying in vain to get into grad school for the 2007-2008 school year, and I have learned that the school of my choice is accepting me on a probational condition.

I have good grades and a good GRE score. The problem? Accrediation…or lack thereof. The college will talk until they're blue in the face that this doesn't matter, but it does. It matters greatly. And PCC is, quite simply, not accredited.

My problem with the college has nothing to do with the rules, which I happily endured for four years. My problem is that the college is so prideful that they won't deal with accreditation. Moreover, they care very little about the average student who is just trying to get an education without indoctrination.

I will never allow my child to go to PCC, and I know I'm not alone.
