I thought maybe the school's standards weren't high enough academically to prepare me for the real world. Maybe I'm just really too smart (I highly doubt that), but once I went to graduate school I almost completely changed my opinion. PCC definitely prepared me to meet the academic challenges I faced there both academically and, in some ways, personally (good study habits, moral character etc.) Yes, people have issues w/ PCC's rigid rules, BUT, if you go there to get a good education for a GREAT price and keep in mind that you chose to go there (how smart are people who do nothing but whine for 4 straight years w/o ever leaving?) you will do fine. I can honestly say this for myself as well as for other friends in a wide array of fields (business, nursing, premed & prelaw to name a few). We graduated with a good degree, no debt and prepared to meet MOST of the challenges that the world was ready to send at us. |
