Things I really appreciated about PCC: 1. I had super Christian roommates. NEVER did a roommate come in drunk, have a boyfriend overnight, or have wild parties late at night. 2. PCC facilities are much nicer than any other campus. I loved having a bathroom in our room. 3. I had NO DEBT when I graduated from college! 4. Other students cared about me, and prayed for me when I had a test, didn't feel well, or had a big decision.5. Instructors, all obviously dedicated Christians, started each class with prayer! What a change from my public school education.6. PCC is run in a businesslike manner. This means well-maintained facilities, reasonable tuition costs, and confidence that our school was financially secure.7. I had to "check out" when I left campus and "check in" when I returned. During my college years, there was a student in another college who was abducted and no one noticed them missing for over 7 days. My parents and I were happy for a college who cared about my safety.8. Occasionally students come to PCC even though they don't want to live in a Christian atmosphere. Some quickly turn to Christ for salvation or direction in life. Others don't do well. It's clear when they post on the internet who they are - a Christian will notice their language, pictures, and attitudes reflective of those who are against living a dedicated Christian life. |
