PCC developed the A Beka reading program, which is what my school uses, and I have been named the 'go-to girl' for any questions, advice, or help in teaching from that curriculum. I have been observed by fellow teachers, because my administrators are impressed with my teaching performance thus far. My only concern is that PCC is not an accredited institution. I am currently studying and testing for the Praxis Series tests, after which I will apply for my Pennsylvania State Certification. My ultimate reason for desiring this certification is to obtain my Master's Degree in Education. Because of my wonderful training at PCC, my principal considers me to be a very highly qualified teacher, and is willing to assist me in any way possible in completing my certification and furthering my education. I would recommend Pensacola Christian College to anyone with a desire to be a teacher. You will gain practical experience and knowledge that is second to none. |
